Indira Edwards is a violist, composer, music educator, and luthier's assistant living in Detroit. They are interested in making multicultural music education accessible and inclusive by lowering or eliminating the cost of entry to the artform. They provide sliding-scale instrument repair, instrument repair and maintenance instruction, private and group instrumental lessons, and community music theory and history classes through Wayne County Community College. In their free time, Indira is an avid bookworm, interested primarily in Cuban history, sustainability in architecture, and public health research.
